This small slice of paradise is home to some of the most spectacular beaches, Doran, Dillion Beach, Salmon Creek and the Bodega head are just a few. At Doran beach you can pitch a tent or set up your RV for your own little piece of heaven. Complete with a boat launch, horse trails, fishing access, picnic areas and plenty of hiking, everyone in the family is sure to enjoy it. Surrounded by the ocean you will get some of the most beautiful sunsets, with the coastal fog rolling in as you wake up in the morning you will believe you woke up in a postcard. This tight knit community puts on a host of events throughout the year. The Bodega Bay Fisherman's Festival is held every year at the start of the Salmon season. The community comes together to celebrate their fishing heritage and bless the fleet for a bountiful and safe year of fishing. Complete with food, drinks, live music and parades there is fun for everyone. Another fun event is the Hitchock film festival. Alfred Hitchock is known for his film, The Birds, which while visiting Bodega Bay, you can stop by the Saint Teresa of Avila Church and see where parts of the film were produced.

The hiking trails provide a look at the beautiful wildlife and coastal vegetation that you won't find just anywhere.
